Southern Insurance Restoration Services, LLC. processes enable your insurance company to determine what, if any, additional services are needed. Any final decisions concerning your property rest with you and your insurance adjuster. If you have a large loss, an adjuster may choose to inspect your damage, however, emergency services should not be delayed. Water damage requires a timely response in order to MINIMIZE property loss and HEALTH risks.

Water Mitigation/Extraction and Dry-out Services and Restoration:

  • Timing is Critical
Water damage in your home or office is something you may never have had to consider. When you do, you need professionals to restore those things that make your house a home or an office functional. Experienced technicians are vital for successful restoration. Our water damage specialist have all completed advanced training and are experienced in the handling of water damage mitigation, dehumidification systems, mold, corrosion control, sewage contamination clean-up and reinstallation techniques. We strive to remain technologically advanced through periodic training sessions and annual continuing education credits in our chosen field. The LONGER the water sits the WORSE the damage.

  • Category I Water Damage
Sanitary or "clean" water sources, or sources that do not cause an initial health threat. Sources include broken water pipelines, tub and sink overflows, appliance water line failures, hot water heater tank ruptures, falling rainwater, and broken toilet tanks.

  • Category II Water Damage
Unsanitary or "gray" water sources contain some degree of contamination. "Gray" water sources include, but are not limited to: appliance overflows from dishwashers, washing machines, toilet bowls with some urine, aquariums, and water beds. This category also contains water that is "clean" or Category I that has not been remediated for a period of 24-48 hours.

  • Category III Water Damage
Unsanitary or "black" water sources always contain pathogenic agents. "Black" water sources include: municipal sewer lines, sea and ground surface water, rising water from rivers and streams, and certain types of sprinkler systems. Category I and Category II water losses can turn into Category III if they are NOT remediated within 48-72 hours.

  • Complete STRUCTURAL Drying
We will extract as much water as possible, in fact, MORE THAN ANY OTHER COMPANY! This vital first step will allow us to dry your home of office that much quicker. We will then begin drying by using state of the art commercial dehumidification and other specialized equipment to "EXTRACT" every bit of EXCESS moisture from your home or office. This is a scientific process and we will measure temperature, humidity, grains per pound (moisture in the air), etc. until we are drying at an absolute optimal level. We are TRAINED and we take our job seriously.

  • Sewage Contamination Clean-up
Porous materials such as pad, carpet, paper, ceiling tiles, books, etc. cannot be salvaged and MUST be disposed. Hard, non-porous surfaces can be cleaned and sanitized. Successful clean up of sewage damaged structure(s) and personal property requires that restoration professionals adhere to the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification's Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration S500-99 (IICRC Standards.) The standards ensure all parties involved (owner, adjuster, etc.) of a thorough, cost effective and expeditious service.

  • Pack-Out, Moving & Storage
When required, we clean, box, and store your belongings for the duration of the reconstruction and restoration. Clothing, furniture and electronic equipment (ex. computers and home audio) can often be saved and rejuvenated through the use of advanced restoration techniques.
